The Marengo Public Library has several programs for children throughout the year. Most events take place in the library's community room, unless otherwise noted.

 "Tiny Tots Storytimes" for ages 2 & up are held each Tuesday at 10:15 a.m. Storytime is held upstairs in the children's section.

 Early Out Storytimes are held once a month on days when schools have an early out for in-service.

 Summer Storytimes are held once a week for six weeks during the summer.

 A Summer Reading Program for children is held throughout the summer months.  Children may read books to earn prizes.

This year's Summer Reading theme is Dig Into Reading! Program starts in June 2013.
