This is a great place to start your search for information. If you want to do the research yourself there are great links to useful resources on our website. If you don't want to do the research, we do offer research services for a fee. Contact the director for information.

Search engines are a fine place to start a search of the Internet, but often the results are unsatisfactory. Besides, the Internet isn't the only place to find information. Our library has gathered together some great resources for you to use to find the information you need.

  • Use Iowa Locator or WorldCat to find books, CDs, DVDs and other items in libraries
  • Use HealthInfoIowa to start your search for health information
  • Come into the library and check out resources for local information including local yearbooks, Microfiche of local newspapers, Iowa County history books and more.

The subject guides give you a great place to find information on travel, sports, consumer goods and more.

Iowa Heritage Project and Iowa Publications Online

can help you dig deep into all things Iowa.
